Oct 10 - Ewan Cartwright leaves Sanders Cartwright

Ewan Cartwright has announced his departure from niche property investment agent Sanders Cartwright to set up Cartwright Property Consulting Ltd. He will continue to provide property investment advice whilst developing an asset management and consultancy business.

Ewan Cartwright stated "this is an exciting opportunity to become involved in some really interesting new and diversified projects whilst at the same time continuing to provide high quality investment advice to my existing clients. Graham and I have built up a strong reputation for good quality advice since we set up Sanders Cartwright in 1997. We will continue to work together and will be collaborating on various projects"

Graham Sanders said "I will continue at Sanders Cartwright with Zoe Brook. I intend to replace Ewan, if that is possible, and also to bring in a quality professional component and in due course an occupational letting specialist. The intention is to build a solid rounded niche practice.

“Ewan and I have also been working on setting up a Collective Property Investment Fund and we will continue to develop this together. Indicative bank funding is in place and we will now concentrate on raising the remaining equity. We consider that the minimum fund size should be £10,000,000 comprised of £4,000,000 equity and £6,000,000 debt. We recognise we are close to optimum timing for acquiring high yielding good quality secondary property and enhancing performance by gearing up with attractive borrowing rates. The gap between income and debt is at an historic high. We anticipate further slide in rents and rental values over the next 6 months, and so pricing should be at the bottom of the cycle when we launch the fund and source our product in 2011.”
